how many Land surveyor(LS) firm really (why i use really?) practice the F2F in their daily cadastral survey work?
if we do the survey of how many LS fully practice the F2F in their cadastral work, i am believe the result will be really disappointed us.
i don't know why the LS don't want to practice it. if u are working with a LS firm, i think u probably ll know the answer. why the LS don't want to adapt the new technology? why they don't want to reform?
So what are the scenario and effect if the LS keep on with the old method? It is not wrong to keep on to the old method. If this scenario keep on by LS, i am believe this field of profession will be in danger. What use of all the graduate from the university with diploma or degree in surveying when a SPM school leaver can do the conventional survey.
So, as we can see, most of the graduate in land surveying will more prefer to join the hydrography survey in oil and gas industry.
Most of the staff in LS firm are SPM level. So, how the licensed LS firm going to adapt the new technology like GPS, GIS, F2F and coming soon CCS ( coordinated cadastral system).
i think now the LJT ( lembaga juruukur tanah) should do something on this scenario. If not, i am sure this profession will be in big danger. LJT must come out with rules that an LS firm must have at least how many graduate (degree or diploma) in a firm to make sure the quality of the survey work done.
If not, this Land Surveying will never reform. Always stay at the same stage.........

not fair for u to comment like that...i m spm level and work with Ls and construction firm as a land surveyor, i know how to practice all new technology and i think i m even better than those degree holder or master holder...what is that piece of paper for ?...if u don know how to use yr Brain in practical way..
